The mosque surrounding the Ka’aba is being expanded in order to accommodate up to a million more people. The number of cranes around the mosque boggles the mind. It’s a phenomenally ambitious project that should be done before Hajj next year, I believe. I can’t wait to visit when it’s done, in sha Allah.
